The Employer Portal empowers benefit administrators with a broad range of pre-enrollment, enrollment, post-enrollment and renewals functionality, including the ability to securely add and update member information online, make roster changes (adds and terms), provide online employer benefit summary and comparison details, and request member ID cards. Even the COBRA process can be automated, with all required forms sent electronically and automatically.

Pre-Enrollment Functionality
  • Receive HIPAA-compliant emails to facilitate login
  • View broker-submitted proposals, which can include multiple quotes
  • Self-generate live quotes and proposals (optional)
  • Upload group census information (using Excel spreadsheets or other formats)
  • View, print and download individual quotes, benefit summaries and detailed plan descriptions
  • Compare multiple quote benefit summaries side by side, and print and download benefit summary comparisons
  • Designate a broker or broker agency of record

Enrollment Functionality
  • Select plan(s) for group enrollment, and configure plan options
  • Complete the group enrollment application online
  • Initiate employee enrollment, and monitor group enrollment
  • Enroll or waive employees, and verify employee and dependent enrollment
  • Download pre-populated member enrollment forms
  • Correctly distribute membership (e.g., active employee, COBRA, retiree, surviving spouse)
  • Scan, upload and attach required documentation for group enrollment
  • Designate enrollment as complete, and submit enrollment online

Post-Enrollment Functionality
  • View the complete group roster and perform group-related roster management
  • Add new employees and terminate existing employees
  • Add, modify and delete dependents
  • Download and print temporary ID cards, as well as order permanent ID cards
  • View billing information and a history of group invoices
  • Pay group invoices online (ACH, credit card, electronic check)
  • Generate bills on pre-determined cut-off dates
  • Retroactively change member and dependent(s) plan selection
  • Review all active and retroactive add and termination data

Renewals Functionality
  • Review renewal plan option(s)
  • View, print and download renewal-eligible quotes, benefit summaries and detailed plan descriptions
  • Compare multiple quote benefit summaries side by side, and print and download benefit summary comparisons
  • Request customization from underwriters
  • Preview and download all renewal proposal documentation
  • Download rate justification sheets
  • Accept renewal proposals

COBRA Management
  • Terminate employees using the group roster
  • Generate COBRA letters and change COBRA status for terminated employees (accept/decline/pending)
  • Generate monthly COBRA coupons and raise COBRA invoices for individuals
  • Track COBRA payments
