Pediatric Associates Health Plan Selects ikaSystems for Its Online Medical Management Systems with Providers

Pediatric Associates Health Plan, a Medicaid health plan exclusively for children, has entered into an agreement to implement ikaSystems' web-based ikaProHEDIS system. ikaProHEDIS is a comprehensive transactional Health Employer Data Information Set (HEDIS) reporting system that will significantly enhance quality of service to members, reduce administrative costs and provide a competitive edge in the health insurance industry.

HEDIS performance is reported by each primary care physician (PCP), including the list of members due for each measure to facilitate the PCP in administering the required measures. At the health plan level, ikaProHEDIS identifies PCPs and their members due for HEDIS measures so that medical management staff can coordinate between PCPs and members to increase scores.
