MedPartners to Implement the ikaEnterprise System as Its Total Technology Outsourcing Solution

MedPartners, a joint venture between Lutheran Health Network and Three Rivers Medical Associates Independent Physician Association has contracted with ikaSystems to implement its ikaEnterprise system as a technology outsourcing solution. The MedPartners organization provides employers with a variety of cost-effective options from which to choose a group health plan for their employees. The LutheranPreferred PPO is the flagship product of the MedPartners network, with over 14,000 physicians and 63 hospitals in over 28 counties in Indiana.

ikaSystems is projected to implement the entire ikaEnterprise system in a much faster time frame than any other vendor in the market place. The ikaEnterprise system consists of five self-service portals and a series of business and transactional systems: core claims adjudication, re-pricing, disease management, utilization management, authorization management, data warehouse, profiling, and HEDIS® reporting.
