Senior Medicare Process Specialist
Responsibilities:
The senior Medicare process specialist will perform the following
activities, among others:
Serve as primary liaison with client health plans and internal
development and compliance teams to ensure effective two-way
communication, promote understanding of system functionality and
encourage cross-functional cooperation
Gather client business requirements and assess progress toward
achieving deployment goals
Remain current in knowledge of Medicare regulations by reading,
interpreting and analyzing regulatory bulletins, memos and other
updates
Develop and implement efficient and functional system design
documents based on client requests or regulatory changes
Serve as a subject matter expert regarding Medicare regulations
and operational procedures
Requirements:
At least 2 years of recent experience in enrollment/membership
operations or regulatory compliance in a Medicare Advantage health
plan, with specific knowledge of the Medicare Managed Care Manual
Chapter 2 and/or Prescription Drug Benefit Manual Chapters 3 and 4
Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred
Experience with business analysis and process improvement
(necessary for success), and IT background strongly preferred
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Senior Software Engineer (ASP.NET/C#/SQL)
The senior software engineer is a strong programming position
with the opportunity to grow into a lead role based on performance.
The ideal candidate will have 3 to 8 years of project experience in
Microsoft .NET Framework environment, plus solid knowledge and
experience in the following:
All technical phases of applications and systems analysis
Software development, including system analysis, design,
development and quality assurance
Implementation of applications using ASP.NET 2.0 with C#
OOAD, design patterns
Multi-tier solutions, especially for Web and data center
environments
Windows and Web services
The differences between .NET Frameworks 1.1, 2.0 and 3.5;
knowledge and working experience in .NET Framework 3.5 a plus
ASP.NET Page life cycles, user controls, custom controls and
ASP.Net Ajax
JavaScript and object-oriented JavaScript
A RDBMS such as SQL Server, Oracle; experience with T-SQL or
PL/SQL, stored procedures, database design
XML, XHTML, CSS and XSLT
SQL Server 2005/2008 and database layers, including SQL Server
skills such as design, T-SQL and performance turning
Reporting services
In addition, candidates should have:
The ability to handle complex application features and technical
designs
Experience with a team development environment
Written and verbal communication proficiency
Solid interpersonal skills
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, debugging and problem solving
skills
Project planning and leadership skills
The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to adapt readily to direction change
Preferred qualifications include:
A bachelors or master’s degree or equivalent work experience
Insurance or healthcare industry experience
Microsoft .NET certifications (MCP, MCSD, or MCAD)
Web Graphical Interface Designer and Usability Expert Responsibilities:
Bring strong creative, conceptual and problem-solving skills to
translate conceptual ideas (business needs and user goals) into
interaction and design solutions
Assess data from multiple sources (product requirements, tech
constraints, UX research, web analytics) and synthesize it to
develop efficient user scenarios, taxonomies, classification
schemes, navigation systems, design patterns, etc.
Create and effectively present UX deliverables (wireframes,
workflows, prototypes, etc.) to explain and negotiate design
solutions to key stakeholders
Develop competitive assessments and perform site heuristic
reviews
Help define, request and incorporate relevant and recent UX
research and data from customer feedback to appropriately inform
design decisions
Help define UX performance metrics (error rate, abandon rate,
average number of clicks, perceived easiness, etc.) for every
project to track its success
